To re-engage and provide networking opportunities for team participants, a reunion and state exposition is held annually.
Similar to the summer training conference, the TRACTION Reunion and Expo offers workshops, break-out sessions, and fun activities. All teams who previously attended a TRACTION conference are invited to share new ideas, learn new programs and re-energize themselves to continue promoting safe driving habits within their school and community.
Each school attending will present their progress of their action plans and the success of any highway safety initiatives that they have implemented in their school. The top 3 schools with the best highway safety initiatives implemented will win a grant which must be utilized to continue promoting safe driving habits within their community. The 1st place school will also be given a “Team of the Year” trophy.
This year’s Reunion is scheduled for March 27 & 28, 2023 at the Stoney Creek Hotel in Columbia.
Cost & Registration
Registration is open to all teams who have successfully completed the TRACTION Leadership Training.
The cost is $15 per person (students and advisors) and includes lodging, meals and conference materials for the two-day event.
